Notice Regarding the Non-Profit Status of the Peace Tax Foundation
Due to a misunderstanding of Internal Revenue Service filing requirements, the non-profit status of the Peace Tax Foundation, Inc., was suspended on February 22, 2012. At this time, gifts to the Peace Tax Foundation, Inc., are not considered tax-deductible. We are currently reapplying for non-profit status and expect to be reinstated. If we are reinstated retroactively in the current calendar year, as we hope to be, your gift will then be considered tax-deductible and we will send an appropriate letter for your records. If tax consequences are of no importance to you, now is an extra good time to help both the National Campaign for a Peace Tax Fund and the Peace Tax Foundation, Inc., financially.
